Controller Sensors LLC (Controller Sensors) was formed on November 3, 2011 and entered the pressure transducer business on November 28, 2011 through the acquisition of all remaining assets of AutoTran Inc. The asset purchase included all equipment, inventory, intellectual property, use of the AutoTran name, the rights to produce all products, as well as the intangible assets associated with the business.
Controller Sensors has 3 owner/members with Terry Dauenhauer being the one member who is also an officer of the company and actively managing the day to day business operations. With 33 years experience in semiconductors, data storage and contract manufacturing, leading large and small operations as well as small to medium size businesses, Terry brings a wealth of operational expertise and customer sensitivity to the pressure transducer business.
Controller Sensors has an excellent baseline of products established through 20 years of AutoTran operation and participation in both the HVAC commercial marketplace as well as various medical markets. We will use this solid baseline of pressure transducer products as our starting point from which we will develop and grow to meet the ever changing and increasingly important energy efficiency controller needs of the HVAC commercial building, hospital and medical markets.
Today, Controller Sensors is an Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA based manufacturer and worldwide supplier of custom pressure transducers used mostly in low and medium air flow/pressure applications. With satisfied customers in Europe, Asia, New Zealand and South America as well as across the USA and Canada we are confident in our ability to support your pressure transducer requirements.
Most of the Controller Sensor products are best suited for air flow and air pressure applications but we also offer product that can be used in water, hydraulic fluids, Freon, ammonia, steam refrigerant and other harsh media environments. The products are designed for quick, reliable customization to customer desired pressure ranges (including bi-directional ranges) and output signals. We customize to exactly what the customer wants so you do not have to compromise your design.
The Controller Sensors manufacturing facility in Eden Prairie, Minnesota is structured to handle product requirements ranging from single piece custom orders to large volume custom product OEM production. Every product is calibrated using NIST-traceable standards.
